Update & please take down posters

Hello again,

We are on our way to get the girls. We've been told that if it is possible it is wise to retrieve as many missing posters as we can as they put the girls at risk now. I know they can't all be retrieved please retrieve what you can. We will pray for their safety.

We are just so grateful to God for His goodness, faithfulness and mercy.

Thank you again,
Jennifer and Scott

PRAISE GOD!

PRAISE GOD - our girls are in custody in Green River, UT!!!  We haven't gotten to talk to them and haven't confirmed 100% that it is OUR girls - but it sounds like the police are sure it's our girls and they have positively identified our car.  They will be transported to a detention center and then they'll get to call us and then we'll finally breathe a huge breath of relief!  We'll go pick them up tomorrow. And then we'll start the next phase of healing for our family.  Your prayers and care are so greatly appreciated.  I know that having such a huge group of people involved has made all the difference in us finding our precious girls.

Seen in UTAH Saturday morning

Your prayers make a huge difference!  The girls were seen in Green River, UT as of this morning so that is a huge encouragement!  Please pray that the police can find the girls in UT.  We are calling all the campgrounds in the area and sending them posters and asking them to be on lookout for the girls.

Saturday 8/6/16 update

Dear Friends,

Thank you for continuing to stand with us in this agonizing experience.  Knowing that people are praying all over the world and caring and trying to help gives us a little more ability to breathe each breath.

The girls have not been found and we have had no contact from them.  There have been a few possible sightings which are being followed up by police.  If you think you see our girls, please take a picture of them and note their clothing and call the police (911) and alert them immediately that these are possible runaways and tell them that the Douglas County Sheriff (Colorado) and Castle Rock Police (Colorado) and Denver Colorado police are working on this case.

Dear All,

Thank you for many texts, FB messages and emails expressing your care and offers to help.  As you can imagine, we are broken, lost, struggling to breathe.  We want so much for Alysha to come home and Noelle too.

Just to let you know a few things - Alysha and Noelle do not have their phones.  We have their phones but can't get into them due to pass codes on the phones.  We have accessed Alysha's facebook and email.  There aren't any clues there so far.

We have also accessed Alysha and Noelle's bank accounts.  Alysha pulled out $500 at around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday August 2 in Castle Rock.  We are hoping that she will make further withdrawals which will give us some clues.

Alysha left a note saying that she would leave our 1999  black Honda Accord license plate QMJ657 (big dent in back right bumper and string hanging from trunk) at Greyhound in Denver.  We don't know if this means they were planning to go somewhere on Greyhound.  We've called Greyhound stations, but no info.  My parents looked in the Greyhound lot in Denver, but didn't find our car.  They are also going to look in the Greyhound lot in Colorado Springs.

We also heard from a neighbor that possibly Alysha and Noelle were seen getting into an older Honda Accord that was silver or grey around 1 p.m. on Tuesday.  We have no idea where our black car is - possibly they are in it.  The police have been notified and told us that they are looking for the car.

We need help.  This is so far beyond us and it is hard to even think right now.  These are some things we can think of that we need help with.  Of course, if you have other ideas, that's great too.  We really need help organizing things and figuring out best ways forward.  We welcome input.
  • Setting up prayer vigils for the girls - at Faith E Free (our church), any other places
  • hiring a private investigator - any recommendations?
  • networks for runaways - for the runaways themselves or for people trying to find them
  • anyone who can help us break into Alysha's phone and Noelle's phone - getting past passcodes.  Tmobile told me on the phone that they can't do that.  We're going to take the phone into a store.
  • how to find a girl named Maddy (spelling?) who lives in Parker or Elizabeth and has about 10 horses (recently bought some at Amish Auction) who may have some information that will help
  • someone who could take Alysha's rats and care for them - we'll provide all the supplies
  • sharing of our Facebook post with Alysha's picture and we'll put up one of Noelle too.  Can someone work on that?
  • sharing a poster that we hope to get made soon in as many networks as possible - truckers, hanging them in bus stations, anywhere, sending by email
Please pass this on to anyone and everyone for prayer and help. We will add a poster soon with pics and info that we would appreciate if you send to anyone you can.

Thank you so much.  We are clinging to Jesus.  Believing He is with the girls and will bring them safely home.  Please forgive us if we don't respond to all texts, emails, FB messages.  We are overwhelmed, but do appreciate all the support and suggestions.

Jennifer and Scott Tibbetts

P.S. Scott's prayer has been, "Lord, wake up Alysha with such an overwhelming thought: 'I want to go home'. "
